ఓర్పు-ఒక నీతి కథ

ఓర్పు

 ⇛అనగనగా ఒక ఊళ్ళో ఒక నది. ఆ నది ఒడ్డున రెండు పెద్ద చెట్లు.. ఆ దారిన వెళుతున్న ఒక చిన్న పిట్ట తనకూ తన పిల్లలకు ఒక చిన్న గూడు కట్టుకుందామని అనుకుని, మొదటి చెట్టు దగ్గరకు వెళ్లి అడిగింది, "వర్షాకాలం వస్తోంది, నేను నా పిల్లలు ఉండటానికి నీ కొమ్మ మీద గూడు కట్టుకోనా?" అంది. "వద్దు ", అనేసింది మొదటి చెట్టు.. 

    ⇛ఆ పిట్ట చిన్నబుచ్చుకుంది. నిరాశగా రెండో చెట్టు దగ్గరకు పోయి సహాయం కోసం వేడుకుంది. "సరే ", అంది రెండో చెట్టు. మహదానందంగా ఎగిరి గంతులేస్తూ గూడు కట్టే పని మొదలు పెట్టింది. వానాకాలం వచ్చేలోపే రెండో చెట్టు మీద గూడు కట్టేసుకుంది.. పిట్ట, పిల్లలతో ఆనందంగా కాలం గడపసాగింది. ఈలోగా వర్షాకాలం వచ్చేసింది.. అంతలో పెద్ద వర్షం. వర్షం పెద్దదైంది. వరద రావడం మొదలైంది. ఆ వరదలో మొదటి చెట్టు కూకటి వేళ్ళతో సహా కూలి పోయి, నీటిలో కొట్టుకుని పోతోంది. 

    ⇛ఆ దృశ్యాన్ని రెండో చెట్టు మీద కూర్చున్న పిట్ట చూస్తూ, "భగవంతుడు నీకు శిక్ష వేసాడు. నాకు సహాయం చేయడానికి నిరాకరించావుగా", అంది నవ్వుతూ. "నేను బలహీనమైనదానినని నాకు తెలుసు. వరద వస్తే కొట్టుకుని పోతానని కూడా తెలుసు. నాతో పాటు నీ గూడు కూడా కొట్టుకుపోకూడదనే నువ్వు గూడు కట్టుకునేందుకు నిరాకరించాను నేను. నన్ను క్షమించు. నువ్వు పది కాలాలు సుఖంగా ఉండు", అంది ఆనందంగా.. ఆ చిన్న పిట్ట చిన్ని గుండెలో సముద్రమంత ఆవేదన..

    ⇛ నీతి: ఎవరైనా నిరాకరిస్తే వారిని తప్పుగా అర్థం చేసుకోవద్దు. వారి పరిస్థితి ఏమిటో వారికే తెలుస్తుంది. ఓర్పు ఒక్కటే సంబంధ బాంధవ్యాలను ఎక్కువ కాలం నిలిపి ఉంచుతుంది..
