 What the Vedas show about women ...

వేదాలు స్త్రీల గురించి ఏమి చూపుతున్నాయి...

👉  స్త్రీలు ధైర్యవంతులుగా ఉండాలి - యజుర్వేదం 10.03

👉  స్త్రీలు మంచి కీర్తి గడించాలి - అధర్వణవేదం 14.1.20

👉  స్త్రీలు పండితులవ్వాలి - అధర్వణవేదం 11.5.18 (స్త్రీలు కూడా విద్యాబోధన చేయాలని చెప్తోంది)

👉  స్త్రీ అందరిని జ్ఞానవంతుల్ని చేయాలి - అధర్వణవేదం 14.2.74

👉 స్త్రీ ఎప్పుడూ సంపదలతో సుఖంగా ఉండాలి - అధర్వణవేదం 7.47.2

👉  స్త్రీలు ఎప్పుడూ జ్ఞానవంతులై, తెలివిగలవారై ఉండాలి - అధర్వణవేదం 7.47.1

👉  పరిపాలన విషయంలో స్త్రీలు
పరిపాలనకు సంబంధించిన సభలు, సమావేశాల్లో స్త్రీలు కూడా పాల్గినాలి - అధర్వణవేదం 7.38.4

👉  దేశపరిపాలన, సామాజిక సంస్కరణలు, ప్రభుత్వ కార్యకలాపాలను స్త్రీలు ముందుండి నడిపించాలి- ఋగ్వేదం 10.85.46

ఈ రోజుక్కూడా ప్రపంచంలో స్త్రీలు పైకి రాకుండా అణిచివేస్తున్నారు. కానీ వేదం ఎంతో స్పష్టంగా స్త్రీల నాయకత్వం గురించి వివరించింది.
👉  ఆస్తిహక్కు
పిత్రార్జితం (తండ్రి కూడబెట్టిన ఆస్తి) లో కుమారుడితో కుమార్తెకు కూడా సమానమైన హక్కు ఉంది- ఋగ్వేదం 3.31.1

👉  కుటుంబం
సమాజానికి, కుటుంబానికి స్త్రీ రక్షకురాలిగా వ్యవహరించాలి- అధర్వణవేదం 14.1.20

👉  స్త్రీ సంపదను, ఆహారాన్ని అందించాలి. శ్రేయస్సును కలిగించేదై ఉండాలి- అధర్వణవేదం 11.1.17
(స్త్రీకి సంపాదన ఉన్నప్పుడే ఆమె కుటుంబానికి సంపదను చేకూర్చగలుగుతుంది)
👉  నీ భర్తకు సంపాదించే మార్గాలు నేర్పించు- అధర్వణవేదం 7.46.3*

👉 ఉద్యోగాల్లో స్త్రీలు కూడా రధాలను నడపాలి- అధర్వణవేదం 9.9.2

👉  స్త్రీలు యుద్ధంలో పాల్గొనాలి-యజుర్వేదం 16.44(ఈ విషయంలో దుర్గాదేవియే స్త్రీలకు ఆదర్శం.

👉  స్త్రీలు బయటకు రాకూడదని వైదిక ధర్మం చెప్పిందంటూ అసత్య ఆరోపణలు చేస్తున్నారు. కానీ వేదం స్త్రీలను యుద్ధంలో కూడా పాల్గొనవలసిందిగా చెప్పింది. కైకేయి దీనికి ఉదాహరణ కదా!

(శ్రీ రామాయణంలో కైకేయి అడిగిన వరం వల్లనే రాముడు వనవాసానికి వెళతాడు. దశరధుడితో కలిసి శత్రువులపై యుద్ధం చేసిన సమయంలో, ఆమె పరాక్రమం చూసి ఆమెను వరం కోరుకోమనగా, సమయం వచ్చినపుడు అడుగుతానంటుంది. ఇతిహాసంలో అదే పెద్ద ఉదాహరణ).

👉  కమాండర్ తరహాలో స్త్రీ సభలను ఉద్ద్యేశించి ప్రసంగించాలి-  ఋగ్వేదం 10.85.26

👉  విద్యా విషయాల్లో

ఓ స్త్రీలారా! పురుషులతో సమానంగానే మీకు ఈ మంత్రాలు ఇవ్వబడ్డాయి. మీ భావాల్లో సామరస్యం ఉండుగాక! మీరు ఎటువంటి వివక్ష చూపక, అందరికి జ్ఞానాన్ని పంచుదురుగాక! మీ మనసు, చైతన్యం సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలి. నేను (ఋషి) పురుషులతో సమానంగా మీకు ఈ మంత్రాలను ఇవ్వడమేగాక, వీటిని అర్థం చేసుకునే శక్తిని మీకు ప్రసాదిస్తున్నాను- ఋగ్వేదం 10-191-3

👉  వేదాల్లోనే మైత్రేయి, గార్గి, లోపాముద్ర వంటి దాదాపు 30 పైగా మంత్రద్రష్టలైన స్త్రీ ఋషుల గురించి చెప్ప బడింది. ఒక్క హిందూ ధర్మంలో తప్ప మరే ఇతర మతంలోనూ స్త్రీదేవతలు ఉండరు. అన్యమతాల్లో ఎక్కడా కూడా స్త్రీలకు భగవంతుడు తన దివ్య సందేశం ఇచ్చినట్టుగా లేదు.

👉  వివాహం -విద్యాభ్యాసం

ఓ వధువా! (వధువు అంటే పెళ్ళికూతురు) వైదికజ్ఞానం నీకు అన్ని దిశల నుండి కలగాలి. వేదాల్లో ఉన్న జ్ఞానం పొందిన తరువాతనే నీవు జీవితానికి సంబంధించిన విషయాల మీద నిర్ణయం తీసుకో. నీవు మంచి కీర్తి గడించి, నీకు భర్తకు శుభాలను కలుగచేసేదానివిగా ఉండు. నీ అత్తవారింట్లో గౌరవప్రదమైన జీవితం గడుపు, నీ జ్ఞానంతో వారి ఇంటిని వృద్ధిపరుచు - అధర్వణవేదం 14-1-64 (ముందు విద్యను పొందండి, ఆ తర్వాతే వివాహం చేసుకోండని స్త్రీలకు ఈ మంత్రంలో భగవంతుడు నిర్దేశించాడు.

Woman should make everyone wise - Adharvanaveda 14.2.74

Woman should always be comfortable with wealth - Adharvanaveda 7.47.2

Women should always be wise and intelligent - Adharvanaveda 7.47.1

Women in governance

Women should also participate in the houses and meetings related to administration - Adharvanaveda 7.38.4

Women should lead the way in governance, social reforms and government - Rig Veda 10.85.46

Even today women in the world are oppressed from getting up. But the Vedas very clearly describe the leadership of women.

Property rights:

The daughter has an equal right with the son in inheritance (property accumulated by the father) - Rig Veda 3.31.1

Family A woman should be the protector of the society and the family- Adharvanaveda 14.1.20

Women should be provided with wealth and food. Should bring prosperity- Adharvanaveda 11.1.17 (Only when a woman has an income can she add wealth to her family)

Teach your husband the ways to earn- Adharvanaveda 7.46.3 

Women in jobs should also drive chariots- Adharvanaveda 9.9.2

Women should take part in war-Yajurveda 16.44 (Durgadevi is the ideal for women in this regard.

False allegations are made that the Vedic Dharma says that women should not come out. But the Vedas say that women should also take part in war. Kaikei is an example of this! (In the Ramayana, Lord Rama goes into exile because of the boon asked by Kaikei.

Address and address women's assemblies as Commander - Rig Veda 10.85.26

In academic matters:

O ladies! You are given these mantras equally with men. When there is harmony in your feelings! May you not discriminate and share knowledge with everyone! Your mind and consciousness must work in coordination. I (the sage) give you these mantras on an equal footing with men, and I give you the power to understand them- Rig Veda 10-191-3

More than 30 magical female sages like Maitreyi, Gargi and Lopamudra are mentioned in the Vedas. There are no female deities in any other religion except Hinduism. Nowhere in the pagan religion does God seem to have given his divine message to women.

Marriage -Education:

O bride! (Bride means bride) Vedic knowledge you have to mix from all directions. Only after gaining knowledge of the Vedas can you make decisions on matters related to life. May you have a good reputation and be the one who brings good luck to your husband. Live a dignified life in your attavarint, nurture their home with your knowledge - Adharvanaveda 14-1-64 (Get education first, then God instructs women not to get married after this mantra)
